'Checkmate for Palliative Care' Karina's commitment to building a sustained, meaningful relationship with the palliative care community—a field she hopes to contribute to throughout her career in neuroscience and healthcare.
Pallium India is a registered charitable Trust based in Trivandrum, Kerala founder in 2003 by Dr. M.R. Rajagopal. We are an NGO providing palliative care absolutely free for our patients.
Funds raised goes directly towards the patient care activities.
The minimum donation value is INR 250/- however, you can contribute the following:
-INR 500: Towards monthly medicine support for patients undergoing palliative care. Medicines are provided for free.
- INR 1500: Towards a monthly food kit comprising essential groceries to families unable to afford ration and daily needs.
- INR 2000: Covers a Palliative Care Home Visit for a patient comprising a multi disciplinary team of doctor, nurses and social workers.
- INR 6500/year: For a child to continue the yearly education, specially where families are ravaged by chronic illness and the sole bread- winner falls ill.
- INR 8000: To support ONE full day's meal for our patients and caregivers in the In-patient unit. (For your birthday, anniversary or memorial of your loved ones)
